FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST VISIT?
Every office visit involves a detailed intake and may include lab work and/or physical exam. During this visit, we discuss patient expectations and then together create the necessary treatment goals. Typical duration for a new patient appointment is one hour. Our useful New Patient Checklist may help answer any further questions.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
To help us better serve our patients, the clinic requires 24-hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Less than 24-hours notice will be charged for the missed appointment. Please call us, should you wish to change or cancel your appointment.
DOES GOLGI ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes. We have partnered with most major insurance companies to provide outstanding care to our patients. These insurance plans cover many costs associated with your office visit, however supplies, such as homeopathics and nutritional supplements, may not be covered.
Regardless of your plan, it's always a good idea to verify your insurance benefits before your scheduled appointment including deductible, copay/coinsurance, and whether telehealth appointments may be covered, if applicable.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
The Golgi Clinic is a primary care clinic with a focus in Naturopathic medicine. We work with patients of all ages for most health concerns. For more details please visit our Services page.

WHAT IF I LIVE OUT OF TOWN/STATE?
No problem. We work with patients all over the country. We offer remote consultations via HIPAA-compliant teleconferencing software and phone. During the COVID-19 viral outbreak, patient insurance benefits may include reimbursement for appointments held via video and/or telephone
HOW DOES A REMOTE APPOINTMENT WORK?
Whether an initial visit or a follow-up visit, your doctor will call you (or login via Zoom for telehealth) at the time of your appointment. If your doctor is behind schedule, he/she will reach out via text to inform you.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY REMOTE APPOINTMENT?
When you schedule your appointment, you will be asked to save a digitally encrypted credit card in our scheduling system, Square. This card can be used to invoice you for appointment-related expenses.
CAN I COME IN TO THE CLINIC FOR AN APPOINTMENT?
At this time, the clinic is closed for face-to-face appointments. After April 30, 2020, we will once again welcome our patients at the clinic. If you decide to make your virtual appointment an in-person visit, please be sure to notify us in advance.
